Seeing family in TN

We were able to drive up to Gatlinburg on June 9th to see Grandad and Grandmother O. We were also able to see some extended family (some we hadn't seen since our wedding)! The trip was short and our time with loved ones went too quickly. There was a great group picture that I should scan and add to these pictures.

Memorial Day fun

On Daddy's day off we headed around town getting things done and ended the morning with a special stop at our favorite playground here in town. (video clips to follow asap)

SNOW, snow, SNOW!!!

We had a beautiful snow! O would have stayed out in it all day if we had allowed. It was great snowball snow! D thought is was fun in the beginning but the plastic bags on her feet made it more difficult to walk:). She was ready to go inside about the same time as MommyOz. Our Christmas 2006

We had such a wonderful Christmas! DaddyOz's parents and brother were able to fly down and spend a number of days with us. It was so exciting to be all together after the many things that happened this year. A true testimony of the Lord's blessings on this family. DaddyOz's vacation started on Christmas day and we began a much needed 2 weeks off. We spent the first week at home with the Oz side of the family, celebrated's O's FOURTH BIRTHDAY!!!, and visited with Great Grands, Uncle C and Aunt B. The second week we spent down in SC with MommyOz's side of the family. It was a wonderful vacation and time of resting up for the new year (and all that it will bring :) ).

Christmas 2006!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (finally!)

O and D really enjoyed DaddyOz putting the tree up and putting on "their" (a.k.a. UNBREAKABLE) ornaments. The hardest part was finding ONE place and not moving them to a new location everyday. One of the fun things that O said when he heard us talking about a Christmas tree: "Oh, Mom, I'm just gonna love having a Christmas tree!"

We also got to see Grandma!!!

We were able to head down to SC to catch Grandma for a couple of hours while she was visiting her parents and siblings. It was much, much too short! But, like our visit with Grandad, is just makes us all the more excited to have them stay with us over Christmas.

Our Family Vacation

A few weeks ago DaddyOz had his first week totally off since January. We spent some time in SC seeing family and then headed over to see Uncle J and Aunt K. It was such a fun and relaxing time. We were able to take in the Children's Museum and Aquarium while we were on seeing Uncle J and Aunt K.


This was a room that took your silhouette and made designs with it (using a red light). I'm not sure how it worked, but we sure had a fun time. The screen would occasionally split into fourths. O and D had a great time dancing and watching their shape on the big screen.

The next day we went to the Aquarium and had another full, fun-filled day! They had a salt-water area and a fresh-water area. O and D were able to touch sting-rays, small sharks and another fish (that I can't think of).








(This is the tank where the kids could touch the sting-rays and small sharks. There was one sting-ray that actually came out of the water toward D. She stood there loving it while O jumped back!)
