It was too short--but it makes us look forward to Christmas.

MMMMM and SSSSSSS

O has done 2 lessons in Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. He has learned the "mmmmm" and "ssssssss." We did our lesson in the tent yesterday since it made things a little more exciting. He isn't ready to write the sounds yet so we aren't doing that. We aren't going to be really strict with it as he is just about to turn 4. But, since he has been so interested in letters and numbers I thought we would go ahead and see how it goes.

Our Family Vacation

A few weeks ago DaddyOz had his first week totally off since January. We spent some time in SC seeing family and then headed over to see Uncle J and Aunt K. It was such a fun and relaxing time. We were able to take in the Children's Museum and Aquarium while we were on seeing Uncle J and Aunt K.


This was a room that took your silhouette and made designs with it (using a red light). I'm not sure how it worked, but we sure had a fun time. The screen would occasionally split into fourths. O and D had a great time dancing and watching their shape on the big screen.

The next day we went to the Aquarium and had another full, fun-filled day! They had a salt-water area and a fresh-water area. O and D were able to touch sting-rays, small sharks and another fish (that I can't think of).








(This is the tank where the kids could touch the sting-rays and small sharks. There was one sting-ray that actually came out of the water toward D. She stood there loving it while O jumped back!)

Here is a fun picture of O and D. We went to buy pumpkins when LaLa was here with her kids. We had such a fun visit with them and look forward to going down to their new house!!!

I have been wanting to do this for a while. If I am going to do it I thought I might do it and get used to it before February when things might get a little :)busy. I am hoping to keep everyone updated on the family with pictures and posts. (as well as have a little fun myself!) Hope you enjoy!
