Barley...our new addition to the family

We were stuck in traffic because of a fallen tree on the way home. She was a little out of sorts.

O's first books....

At breakfast this morning, O came up with the idea to call both sets of grandparents and share with them his new "thing" that he did for the first time on Saturday. It was very cute the way that he made sure both of them were on the phone so as not to leave anyone out. He then began READING the book on his own. I love it when he reads something silly on the page and then chuckles, "this is so funny!"
That black thing in D's hand is the phone.

Here is a collection of tee-ball pictures from O's season. He had such a great time! He decided during his last game that he would slide to each base. EACH BASE....even when it was time to run all the way home....he slid into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and then HOME. He also shared the idea with the other players on both teams and started a new trend in tee-ball.

D's memory work tonight

T-Ball Starts

O had his first T-ball practice tonight. He has been excited since we signed him up the end of March. He kept wanting to know how many days until he played. He got his first pair of baseball cleats last week and I'm sure it won't be his last. He proceeded to tell all the sales people why he needed these cleats. Even after we left the sports' store he continued to tell everyone that he was playing T-ball starting on Monday.



D was able to take him to practice tonight and even help out at one of the stations. D taught his group "How to run to 1st base." He was so busy with his group of kids that he missed out on watching how O did at his other stations (or taking pics for me). When the coach was taking role at the beginning he had all the kids line up on the bench and he went down the line checking them off. When the coach got about 4 kids in front of O, O started yelling, "MY NAME IS O____! MY NAME IS O_____!" D got a big kick out of that. This will be a great learning time for O. Here is a pic I snapped before he left. I hope to get more pics at the next practice.
